What is better then evening drives in the country, crisp fall evenings, and autumnal playlists? We say, nothing.

Michelle is an old high school friend of mine who I (Meg) hadn’t seen for years. About a year ago, her and Kyle got married. So, I was super stoked when I got to see Michelle again and meet her hubby. Michelle was the same as I remembered her, and Kyle was the sweetest. Both of them were so chill and down for whatever, so it made for an amazing couples session.

These two also have some badass vintage cars! Look at these babies!

Kyle is actually selling them if you are interested in owning one of these puppies. Click here to check out the listing!

We were so excited to try out a new style of shooting. One that focuses on comfortability, laughs, and most importantly connection. Relishing in the slowness and intentionality of the moment instead of just flitting from one moment to the next.

As photographers it’s really easy to fall into a trap of moving quickly and getting as much as you can so that your couples feel like they got their money’s worth. But, we want to focus on giving our clients quality over quantity. Better, slower, more intentional moments.

We want our couples to look these photos when they’re 50 and remember why their significant other was proud of them, or how beautiful they thought they were on their wedding day, or what a strong and resilient person they are. Touching on their personal history will always be more powerful then instagram fads.

We want our couples to come away feeling more in love then when they showed up. We want all our couples feeling stoked off their love.

It felt like it added such a necessary layer to our work that was missing previously. Instead of wondering how to get the best photos for us and them, we were focused on how to get that and how to honor and bless our couples.

All of these lessons we learned from the wonderful Athena and Camron and their amazing Masterclass, which we cannot recommend enough!

It was so much fun to capture these guys one-of-a-kind love on a sunny fall afternoon, dreaming of future session possibilities together.

Cheers until next time, friends!

Take a listen while you scroll, we always send our couples a song when

we deliver their gallery that we feel captures the vibe of them and their day!
