These two are absolute goofballs, and their elopement in Yosemite National Park was so dreamy and magical… and filled with lots of giggles. We loved Claudia and Travis’ infectious laughter and we all couldn’t help but crack up anytime we asked them to pretty much make eye contact.
The day started well before dawn. We both camped at a nearby BLM area outside of the park and woke up bright and early to make our way to Glacier Point for sunrise. We arrived and Claudia and Travis put on their wedding clothes inside of their Subaru in 35 degree weather. Yikes, it was so cold! But they were total troopers about it. We walked around until we found a place where we felt comfortable and where there was no people. Luckily for us, it was actually pretty empty.

These two belly laughed and giggled their way through the morning, while cuddling up and loving on each other as the sun rose over the granite peaks. Half Dome really is something else. It’s so inspiring to be in a place with towering ancient trees and granite peaks, waterfalls and meadows, and then to also pay witness to a love so genuine has us often pinching ourselves thinking “how did we get so lucky?”
Afterwards we went down to the valley, nearly 3,000 ft below where we just were and talked around the fields, staring up at the place where we just were, aweing at it’s beauty. They decided to change into a more casual getup and romp around in the valley together. This was honestly the best day. We had a blast spending it with these two and their adventure loving butts.
